Week 10

Many things beyond my control are wrecking havoc with my training:
1. Weather – 2 feet of snow in 2 days. Snow/Rain in Denver will cancel a 5 hour bike ride scheduled for Sunday
2. Pool is closed for another 7 days.
3. I can’t wake up early enough to do a bike ride on the trainer before work
Okay, #3 is in my control.

I’m re-reading Joe Friel’s book, Going Long. He recommends that if you miss a workout don’t try to make it up; just keep going forward and complete the one today. I missed yesterday but today I will bike 2 hours and then do a 30 minute run. Hopefully by then the streets will be more plowed. As of right now, there’s no way.
