The plan calls for a swim, bike, and run day. I’m not going to be able to do them back to back. If I had planned my week better I would’ve done this on a day off. I’m mad at myself for not planning it right. I’m nothing if not a planner. The pool schedule changed this week and I had to move some workouts around and it all worked out. However, I'm still perturbed that I can't do all 3 back-to-back.
I did have a great 2 hour swim work out this week. I have never swam for 2 hours straight. I actually felt really great at the one hour point and knew I would be able to finish.
The temperatures have dropped (it’s 1 degree) and the snow has come back. I substituted running for snowshoeing twice this week. Here's hoping that the snow melts and 60 degrees comes back during the day. Please.
I had some weird dizziness issues this week. I was sitting on the sofa and felt like my head was moving and it wasn’t. I just felt weird. Then it continued the next day. After some googling and discussing with my "mom at work", I discovered I was dehydrated. When I thought back to the last few days, I wasn’t drinking as much as I used to and the workout have been longer and harder. At work I would drink over 100 ounces of water and I haven’t been doing it. Now, I feel much better.
Still learning……
